Hey, missed your comment. You have to provide a "fee" along with your transaction to pay miners. If your fee is too low, miners won't care about processing your transaction because the reward for them is too small. Thus, your transaction will be unconfirmed. This is why Bitcoin has such large transaction fees (5$ to move 30$ for example), otherwise, miners don't care to process it.

Point 1: No upgrade or scaling solution is guaranteed to happen before a crash. Point 2: The bitcoin dev community is severely fragmented (see bitcoin cash/btc gold/segwit2x cancelled/etc.). I actually hold more crypto than fiat. Just not bitcoin. I think btc is a great entry point to get the average person interested in crypto. But it's still just a prototype and the day it crashes will be the day people look for and find better alternatives.

Yep. Food, water, guns, and ammo should be a part of every investor's portfolio.

I bought BTC in '13 and still have it, but lets not pretend Bitcoin is doomed to crash and burn. It's all hype and memes that power btc. We are currently at 90,000 unconfirmed transactions. How do you think people will cash out when this drops with so many unconfirmed txns? Someone's about to get fucked, and hard.

Get rid of it. Get rid of it. Get rid of it. Go to the grocery store and buy the strongest trash bags you can; NOT the thin store-brand ones. Don't make a donation pile because you'll probably never get around to it. Just haul all that shit to the trash bin and reward yourself with something nice when you're done. Easy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
