That just reminded me of something whatifalist said: "not being able to talk about toxic femininity is an element of toxic femininity" Source: youtube (Toxic femininity starts at 1:03:13)

Austria: Currently: 6 months of military service or 9 months of civilian service. In our federal constitution you will find §7 "All citizens are equal before the law. Privileges based on birth, gender, social status, class, or religion are prohibited.". However, half a page later there is §9a "Every male citizen is subject to military service." (IANAL, i hope i translated it properly) At the moment, our government is planning to extend military service by 2 months and civilian service by 3 month…

Are you okay with France banning men from getting DNA tests on their children, without permission from the woman first? Your wording sounds like Germany (You need your child's consent to collect a DNA sample. However, since children are unable to give consent, the consent of all legal guardians is required. That's why you need your woman's consent.) France is harsher: In France, it is illegal to take a paternity test. Only courts are allowed to order a DNA test.

Anime: "Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" Isekai usually use truck-kun to "switch" between worlds. In this series, however, a cheating woman is used to bring about the downfall of the main character. It stuck with me because in the first episode MC figures out that his child is not his child because he is unable to donate blood. They even show a blood inheritance table. It is a fitting plot for this sub because he has to pay child support even though his daughter is not his child and he did…

Sorry, can't remember the source. From my memory: Males self exit is often not caused by depression. The cause is more likely hopelessness. The final path is thus chosen based on a rational logical decision. That's why I think /u/Shinra_tenseiiiiii is correct. Male spaces can help men to find their hope/purpose again.

Roughly a year ago i watched some interviews with the Youtuber WhatifAltHist. From my memory: He talked about the same societal collapse as you did. AFAIR there should be a talk where this is his main focus. There was one interview with a slightly different angle and i think he predicts a civil war in the US within the next few years. Honestly, i doubt that such a future will materialize. In the last third of one of his longer interviews he talked about toxic masculinity/femininity. Or to be mor…

Your idea got adopted to an anime this season: I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! It is an isekai and unlike the typical death by Truck-kun, paternity fraud plays an important role in his demise. E1 contains a blood type inheritance table ~11:50.

Most did not have arranged marriages. I believe it would be better to use the term "forced marriage". In an arranged marriage the couple could still say no. Their partner finders (either parents or external match maker) would find a different partner. Which means that even in an arranged marriage they have/had options and as such a choice.

Illegal is an interesting term in this context, because you can forbid it without making it illegal. Germany: DNA samples require the consent of the person it is taken from. => The baby needs to give consent. => The baby is to young to give consent. => Both caretakers need to give their consent. => Now the guy is forced to ask his wife/girlfriend to consent. Which is basically the core of every paternity test topic on ppd. Women admit that it is an horrific idea to ask them for consent. So in Ge…

to have 1 romantic encounter Also many of those encounters are not ltr material. => They are still at 0 options for the ltr they desire. Women on the other side have most likely some ltr option. They may not be attracted to their friendzoned orbiters, yet they still are a valid option. Those men on the other side have 0 ltr worthy women being attracted to them.

breakups are often times harder for the man than they are for the women. You forgot that women tend to monkey branch. When she is initiating the breakup she has already emotionally left him. He on the other side does what men attempt to do when something breaks apart: he attempts to fix it. So he is even more invested than usual.

96% of construction If i am not mistaken, construction also covers supporting roles like planning the construction work. It would be interesting to know how many of these 4% women work in an office job. I wouldn't be surprised if the percentage of men in physical construction jobs is even higher.

By your definition - all men - make a first move, because all of them give subtle hints towards women they are interested in. Do you know realize the flaw of your argument?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/24 03:08 PM

They give you hints such as repeated eye contact, body language, smiling. You could argue, that those signals are subconscious. As such classifying those as "first move" is a lie.

democracy This term is also an interesting one. Currently in central Europe the term democracy is used to convince people to not vote for alternatives. What they actually mean is "representative democracy". In Germany as well as in Austria the biggest opposition parties have one thing in common. Those want to establish elements of "direct democracy" according to the Swiss model. The ruling parties mental acrobatics seem to work like that: Direct democracy would allow populists to establish a dic…

I remember that i once seen a video where an Asian explained that behavior. One thing stuck. Since Asian women are still expected to take care of the elderly, white men offer them the chance to escape this future. I am unable to judge if that statement has merit. Nevertheless, it stuck because in my country it is normal for nursing homes to take on this role.

Both information are plausible. Most likely none of them would be made available due to privacy issues. At least in Europe it would violate laws with certainty. You could say: but system could never know BC. Yet in such fictional world its also possible. Whenever an XR user had a hookup he can simply tell this the system. Also don't underestimate the core ability of AI. As someone already mentioned, AI is dumber as people think. But at the same time AI is brilliant if it comes to digging through…

/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 01:15 PM

In France it is forbidden by law to make paternity tests. In order to get one, you first need to convince a court to order one. In Germany it is forbidden to make a test in secret. It is mandatory to ask people whether they agree to provide a DNA sample. As a baby is not capable of giving consent, both caretakers need to consent. => The law requires him to ask her. Quite frankly, if childrearing was easier than working a full time job, more dads would choose it. But they don't - surveys show lots of dads prefer working. You forgot some factors: Typically his job pays better than hers. => Both partners decide that it is the better choice if he focuses on work. Your study is a bad example as true love will be formed over time. Love at first sight is mostly sexual attraction. If i would attempt to proof your point i would search for breakup studies. Especially if one gender has a higher tendency to breakup if their partner has lost their job (usefulness).

A recent interview² stuck in the back of my mind. Especially one question. Does toxic femininity exist? Form my dull memory: strategies like shaming, gaslighting or deflecting are all aspects of toxic femininity. But the worst of it: Re-framing terms in a way that you are unable to name them is also a strategy of toxic femininity. Everyone can easily name what toxic masculinity is supposed to mean with one simple sentence. Hardly anyone can articulate what toxic femininity looks like. It’s toxic…

The main issue is that there are 2 conflicting viewpoints: Normative: A society in which helping seems normal is desirable. As such you want laws, education and tradition to teach such values. Empirical: We know the status quo and society does not deserve to be helped from unknown men. Why should a man stand up for people who don't give a damn about his needs? There are women who want to date, women who want casual, and women who aren't interested at all. How about a different angle? If women don't want to be mixed up with female fraudsters, how about talking about possible consequences? Keep in mind, this is not a trivial offense: Let's assume that raising a kid will cost 200.000 USD. Also assume that half of that is financed by him. => 100.000 USD in monetary damage. Let's assume that the man wanted his own legacy. This means that he will be denied the chance to get his own kid with a honest women. => That's a life changing consequence => In ma…

In France its forbidden by law (paternity test needs to be court ordered). It is also interesting to look at Germany. Their law demands consent. However, since a baby cannot give consent, both legal guardians must give their consent. => He needs to ask his wife/girlfriend for permission. On the surface level this may seem OK. Yet, in case of doubt, the man has to risk his relationship while she knew exactly who the father was.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/24 06:57 AM

It goes even deeper than that. There are also men who avoid women for a different reason: Why should they look for a woman who is highly unlikely to match their desired criteria? For simplification think about a metric like bc. As 2 states that it's easier for predatory men, this caused a decrease of the perceived value of available women. We all know that not all women are like that. But when a college guy is surrounded by 304s, opting out of the dating game is actually rational.
