It is an apartment and we both were on the lease but she was the co-tenant. In my state, co-tenants have the same rights as the primary lease holder. I stopped buying food for the apartment, stopped cleaning up, put some of her stuff outside the door every week and played dumb and told her I thought it was trash since it was her dirty shit. Then surprise, her family has space for her to live. Lease ends soon so she might had planned the shit all along. Learn from me, break the lease. Save money …

She was in there. She took anger management classes and then they expunged the charges. She told the courts and the apartment office I was abusive due to telling her to hit the road several times. They leasing office wouldn't let her off the lease unless she signed off herself.
