FWIW, the article has nothing really to do with gender. It is from an article titled: "affordable housing, and people on welfare can't afford to pay rent." So, you are fighting cherrypicking by cherrypicking?

Do you have a source for that? Many states require background checks, that under federal investigation can take 3 days or longer. In addition, many states have waiting periods on purchasing a gun, specifically so that you cannot go and buy a gun whenever you wanted to.

His point still stands. It is hard enough for a normal person to get an "assault rifle." Heck, I can't own on in my home state, and I don't even have a criminal record or anything. They're just flat illegal for all. Add a violent crime against a judge? She'll have fun trying to get anything more than a spud gun.
