He'd be sending up the woke anti-male rhetoric, that discrimination against males (Ukrainian men are majority white males) is acceptable. The fact that Ukrainian government isn't allowing males of fighting age 18-60 to leave anyway makes his comment somewhat bizarre tho. The only males in the refugees should be elderly, disabled and non-ukrainian nationals.

The fact that it's a black and white photo of man with a beard seems to make people think he was old and wise and that what he said has some merit. Old men can be fools like anyone else. Women also have the capacity to dump on men for the crap that someone else gave them, because you're a man and it doesn't seem to matter which man. If they worked in airport baggage handling, everyone would get the wrong suitcases.
