While it takes approximately 500–600 milliseconds for an experience to register in conscious awareness, the amygdala can react to a potential threat in less than 50 milliseconds. In that magical world, you're always 💯 conscious of both their verbal manipulation/abuse, & your own triggered behavior. And thus 'of course' you have full agency over your own behavior, mindset, emotions, etc. And can choose to ignore/reframe their words, & sail past any bad effects. But trauma exists. 24	Women really don’t understand they can’t have it both ways. Few women with film careers last 8 or 10 years IN USA, and only then with some acting chops to back it up. FTFY. It's USA who are obsessed with "it's over at 35yo" for women (a common H-wood industry saying). Look at European films, Asian films, etc. Lots of older women there.
