It's not the only way to solve the coordination problem though, make being a soldier more desirable and people will join naturally. If you have to do conscription then you are not treating your soldiers well compared to they burden they will have to shoulder

We need an abolition of conscription as a concept. If you don't have enough soldiers, you need to pay more, sorry.

Women being mandatorily drafted into auxiliary roles basically makes the only viable role for men infantry/frontline work, which is not exactly the preferred outcome in my opinion

Honestly it's because a solid 50% of men believe that it is a man's primary duty to fight and die in wars. We would get much further dealing with that (in terms of fighting single gender conscription) than going after 'misandry'

The solution(s) to all those problems don't, in my view, include trying to induce more men and boys to get laid more, because that just means competing harder among themselves for access to (hetero) sex. There aren't going to magically be more women, let alone more who are both desirable and desirous You don't think societal policy could theoretically push more women into being open (or at the very least more comfortable) with having sex? Crackdown on rape and violent crime, policy dedicated to …

For point 1 it's single adults, so my intuition is that more women are in relationships vs just having a Chinese style male population glut. Probably from women dating older men out of cohort (it balances out, older women are more likely to be single than older men)

I generally agree with the moral concept of 'man who had no idea about woman he's sleeping with's age, goes to jail' being bad. But opening up avenues for ephebophiles to say 'I didn't know about her age' makes all cases of adults molesting 14 year olds almost impossible to prosecute. If you can get out of a charge by just throwing up your arms and shrugging, there would be a lot more underage girls getting taken advantage of

Old vaush videos on men's issues are so good. And even though vaush is still 100x better than the average left tuber on mens issues it isn't a central focus of his channel like it used to be, so gets sidelined sometimes as a lense of analysis

It is a very funny coincidence that all people who disagree with them are incels. Then they don't have to confront the reality that politics is almost never the reason why someone isn't getting laid

I really wish I could trust the average teacher to handle this topic properly but honestly I just don't. In theory a program to tackle relationships and teach children healthy emotional skills is super helpful! However a program that is intended to 'curb misogyny' and 'Illustrate that the entire world, including women isn't against them' just does not fill me with a lot of hope.

"Der Giftpilz (German for "The Poisonous Mushroom" or "The Poisonous Toadstool") is a piece of antisemitic Nazi propaganda published as a children's book by Julius Streicher in 1938.[1] The text is by Ernst Hiemer, with illustrations by Philipp Rupprecht (also known as Fips); the title alludes to how, just as it is difficult to tell a poisonous mushroom from an edible mushroom, it is difficult to tell a Jew apart from a Gentile. The book purports to warn German children about the dangers alleged…

I think there's probably some validity to wanting to escape the performative intrasexual posturing that comes with being a man. And generally that is what toxic masculinity means (Not the widespread use which just means anything a man does that they perceive as sexist)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
