It was a hyperbolic example. You understood the concept pretty clearly to me. Splitting efforts is less effective than focusing on one thing at a time, it's politics.

Then why are you men's rights and not egalitarians? You can't claim they do it then turn around and do it yourself in the same breath. And as they constantly repeat, feminists are for men, but only in the sense of the harms brought by traditional gender roles. It isn't women or feminists saying these Native Americans can't keep their hair. It isn't women or feminists saying women can keep their hair. This isn't a men's rights vs feminism issue. Bring this up to a feminist you know and ask them w…

Did you even bother reading the entire comment or did your brain just give up after 10 minutes of struggling with it?

I'm not sure where your anger comes from if you're this neutral. You should work on that.

Rofl did you even read what I posted before assuming I'm arguing? Thanks for affirming the stereotype all MRAs are combative contrarian assholes :)

Yeah gender equality by bringing rights for women equal to men's. If female rights are at 1 and men's rights are at 2, it's a little more prudent to add one to female rights before focusing your efforts on adding more to men's. Why should the feminist movement concern itself with purely male concerns when its primary focus is female concerns? Their goal is to catch up so the focus can shift away from gender segregated goals and become one movement. This wouldn't even be a double standard if femi…

What does this have to do with feminism? Why is everything an attack on feminism? Stop being a cunt. Your reaction to this shouldn't be "hah, suck it feminazis," it should be "how do we fix this?" This is why people hate MRAs, because you're just spiteful cunts not actually interested in improving anything, you're just contrarian assholes.

You sound salty. Did I hit a nerve with the ugly comment?

Yeah, if he's attractive. Donald Trump wouldn't arouse any girl. It's like you're just desperately clawing at a reason other than "I'm an ugly piece of shit" to use for why women don't find you attractive

Because this subreddit is full of childish fuckboys? Tell me more about how these two tweets affected your life. How do you really feel?

Or maybe you have a shitty view of things and assume everyone is a shallow pieces of shit? Money has absolutely nothing to do with attraction for 99% of people. If you're the exception, my condolences, because there are a lot of cute girls that are probably too poor to be pretty in your eyes.

The fact you assume I'm a woman shows how clueless you are

Have you met any women in your life? You're in essence saying every woman in the world is a gold digger. Do you realize how stupid you sound? Sorry, I forgot about the troves of women who love catcalling when it's from the guy in the Porsche instead of the construction worker, you're right.

How is it a double standard? One side is being objectified and the article is linking to an Instagram account. The other side wants to have sexual desire to be divorced from their value as a person. It's the same thing as posting "check out all these white guys eating watermelon" and "check out all these black guys eating watermelon." One is okay in social context, the other isn't because it perpetuates a negative, harmful stereotype that is rooted in a history of systemic oppression. If there w…

It's amazing how riled up this subreddit gets about one instance of men being valued solely based on sexual attractiveness. Imagine how annoying it'd get if the majority of media representation for men was like this! That being said, these are kinda creepshots. But then again, there isn't a popular banned subreddit dedicated to creepshots of men.

Ok I'm sorry but you say intelligent discourse but I've seen no scholarly sources or studies that affirm his argument. And I'm failing to see any in this comment thread, so if anyone could care to link me to anything proving that these statistics are "bogus," please. Otherwise, a baseless argument against the seriousness of rape or any discourse attempting to de-legitimize the problem that rape presents for women (and men) is exactly what continues "rape culture," which is the root cause of the …
