I relate to this and agree wholeheartedly. Men with fragile egos, whether they wait it out or react instantly, they WILL show their true colors. Some sooner and others later, but they always have red flags all over the place.

THIS. “Confessions of a sociopath by M.E Thomas is a good read too. The author is a sociopath and by how renowned this person is on paper shows how well sociopathy can be hidden and doesnt always show as physical aggression.

HVM can enjoy watching sports. I honestly think you’re projecting your or your friend’s LVM ex onto this hobby. I personally enjoy watching hockey and wouldnt want to be with someone who couldn’t or wouldn’t watch with me.

Two years. I died laughing when he tried to send me an apology over IG dms! This guy manipulated me, cheated on me, and used me as an emotional crutch for 2 years and then waited to try and do it again! He “apologized” and then after I didn’t reply he asked to be friends again! Needless to say.. I blocked him.

I usually carry mace and/or a small knife no bigger than my (already small) hand. It wouldn’t do much damage but it makes me way less of a target. Car keys or house keys are also very useful. If you have enough of them on your key ring you can put them between your fingers pointed outwards.

Finally did my eyebrows. Got my ass back in the gym at a minimum of three days a week, 6 max. Have been improving my ability to focus and joined an organization for science outreach! I am currently working on obtaining leadership and research opportunities within my major. Very exciting things happening.
