9	STUDY SHOWS: Teachers 'give higher marks to girls' across the world and in work favour women also As far as I know it always has been like this in the UK. And every examiner only marks one or two questions per paper, so if I was marking a 50 question maths paper, I would mark only questions 5 and 28, for example. 1	Paternity Leave Mmm, If single mothers aren't allowed to take maternity leave they will end up with no income, and then mothers who would have otherwise supported themselves will have to look for another source of finance, which would probably be the (percieved) biological father, and then you end up with a mother and child living off scraps, and a man who is constantly pulled down by child support. I'm sure there were female teachers she could have told, but was probably hesitant because her abuser was a woman. Another reason we need more male teachers. "It's likely?"
