Fair trade means ethically sourced. Bio likely means “all natural” or “GMO Free.” And I guess he’s making fun of his own wife for being torn between virtue signaling about ethically sourced or virtue signaling about being woke when it comes to GMO. I agree. I’ve been on the hiring side and nearly shit myself when I run across a Jewish, black, transgender, female, that has Native American Ancestry. Or if you can't/won't, then yes I have one piece of advice: stop saying anything that requires you to give the disclaimer "I personally do not think this but..." That's probably the most rational advice I can hope for. If she tries to start more arguments, I'll tell her I'm not interested. I'll try and avoid topics that are "buzzwords" for her. But, with these types, they can somehow put a spin on anything and make it part of her perceived "feminist" agenda.
