You make a great point. Perhaps this is why "bling" is so popular amongst non-whites. They have the fear of extreme negative stereotypes for being non-white from social prejudices, and compensate aesthetically that they have energy/money/success to spare. I think sometimes you have to communicate who you are clearly to society sometimes through aesthetic means. There's disadvantages in being viewed as just another average guy (as well advantages at other times).

Common mistake. They are gradations of empathy. There's actually like an official test you can take which you score on various levels. Sociopaths are lower middle (racists, elitists, femanist, coaches, etc), psychopaths are low (serial killers, generals, ceos). Minor correction. Sociopath is the correct word for someone who only has empathy for a narrow group. Psychopaths have no empathy for anyone except themselves.

It's important you distinguish between psychological hedonism and rational hedonism. Red Pill is incredibly selfish, the difference being that we promote strong long term thinking, ideas based in factual reality, and only doing something if it advances the life YOU want.

The important aspect is you should be actively self interested at all times. RP don't seek equality, we seek our efforts being worth it for us and sustainably so. As reflected above, make sure you are getting something out of a desire for traditional role for paying for stuff (which is easy for most of us to do). Expectations of reciprocal traditional roles here is often encouraged for good LTR behavior or simply to save us time. But it could be something else.
