I'd be cautious lumping homosexuality in with gender dysphoria. One is a diagnosable mental illness and the other is a sexual orientation. I agree that there is still a ways to go with learning about these things but as far as we know, gender dysphoria is diagnosable and a diagnosis is often needed in order to begin any sort of transitioning.

I encourage you to go and listen to trans people describing what it feels like pre-transition. It's more of an emotional appeal, I know, but there aren't a lot of great options for them. It has nothing to do with perceived consent. It has to do with adults, especially those in positions of power, knowing where the line is.
