I believe that women as a whole are biologically better suited for housework/childrearing over men. I also believe that children, marriages, and households benefit greatly from having a SAHP and a working parent. And then finally, due to men earning the money and working outside the home, I think their opinion holds a little more water in day to day activities. He has his expertise, I have mine. But what works for my family doesn’t apply to everybody. That’s why I vote blue!

Have you read the surrendered wife? One of the key aspects is letting your partner handle the finances in the relationship. If he hasn’t expressed to you that he needs help, he may take it as you not trusting him/undermining his masculine duty to provide for his family. If you’re concerned deeply, you could try asking an open ended question about his stressors and see if he brings up finances. Then go from there!

No solution for you, but I feel the exact same way!!! Sometimes I wear a matching set of PJs/loungewear to feel cuter, or I just throw a sweater on top of a dress. Not my favorite thing to do, but you gotta do what you gotta do
