I'm very pro women's rights... Abortion, equal pay etc. And I'm left leanigg and always likely will be. Where it needs to stop is "believe every woman if they claim they are abused, and put the man in jail even after a fair trial". I think the feminist movement is taking back the pro women's rights movement.

Police in the UK were giving out fines left right and centre for every Tom dick and Harry. Even when people were just going out for a walk at a park that wasn't "local" to them. The fact that the police REFUSED to investigate a crime (that they knew about, as they had police at no10).... Because they don't investigate crimes in the past.... And then only wanting to investigate AFTER the government's internal investigation was finished.... But before it was published to the public (which inevitab…

Also sick of the police overall. In the UK we've had some pretty bad events recently where police are choosing what to investigate (poor people couldn't have gatherings during lockdown but the government could). In the US it looks like you can assault someone if your rich

Just came here to say the same. The amount of women I've seen saying it's okay to slap a man if he's offended your wife. Since when is physical assault OK if your offended.

I've just read further down that he is doing 12 hour shifts! Can you imagine doing an 8am to 8pm shift and be expected to do the cooking cleaning and laundry. She's stated that "50% of the time he listens to me and does it and 50% he doesn't". I think she's lucky to get that! Thank you! It's perfectly logical. If the man was a stay at home parent It would be perfectly acceptable that he has to do all the household work. Unfortunately that's not what's going on and my comments are being heavily down voted. They are expecting the husband to do full shifts and do all the cooking cleaning and laundry. She has 4 kids and 3 are at school and people are arguing that it's not doable with 1 young child. Ive stated the man shouldn't be blamed here... Either the mother should g…

I agree with you 100%. The complaints I hear on those groups never said the dad doesn't help with the kids at all.... Just not as much as they should. They said that they also don't help with the household chores. My argument is that the man's circumstances are never taken into account. Edit: for context..... The thread I'm talking about.... The woman Is complaining that the husband doesn't do the cooking cleaning and laundry when coming home from work...whilst she is at home all day. If the man…

Children I agree with. Saving the women is protection for the future..... Last time I heard... It takes a penis and a vagina to procreate. Why is one more important than the other.

Shes new in my workplace and I didn't really want a political debate with someone I'm not really bothered about at work. She knew I looked shocked and I just sat there in silence.

Being gay I love having to avoid the who pays debate... Because we're both guys it's practically the born to split the bill. That said... I can't believe that women still expect the man to pay. Not only are women working now (and as in the story, potentially earn more than the man) they are practically saying my time is worth more than yours. I can understand if you really like the girl (and knew her beforehand) that you may want to make the gesture to pay for it all.. But if you going on a blin…

If this story was true..... He's still stupid. (that doesn't excuse her for cheating, she's also a nasty piece of work). He paid 8k for breast implants that his gf didn't ask for. Sounds like he pushed her into it. And now he's asking for it back?! 😂😂 Neither person comes of good here.

I would post it on the femism sub, to those that say it rarely happens... But they'll probably delete it and say it rarely happens (and purposely ignore the 3000 comments)

Disagree. Spitting is a disgusting thing to do during normal times but during a pandemic it's awful. Havnt you seen reports of someone dying from covid after being spat on. He may potentially contract covid and end up in hospital.... Or he may have sick and vunerable in his family that he doesn't want to pass anything onto them. The second push was just. If a guy spat on him it would have been more then a push.

Look how many are there.... But the feminists continue to say "false accusations are rare"

Ridiculous but I don't think this is a case of sexism. I've seen similar sentences for males. It seems you only get hard time in jail if you've robbed the goverment or some private company of money somehow. Those are the crimes that carry the real sentences. There was a UK TV show on not long ago of someone claiming on their insurance as someone broke into his home stole some family heirlooms, including a fireplace. Turns out he lied and it hadn't been stolen. He was sentenced to 8 years on pris…

I would agree and still say one of the nordic countries. I bet false rape claims are far less then places like the US.

Come on. Fox news of the left. Laura K pretty much repeats the government line. Her worst was when she reported a corbyn supporter had hospitalised and beaten a Tory MP.... Until a video surfaced of the corbyn supporter pointing in a direction and the MP accidently walking into his finger. She Reported that lie, with no investigation, in the middle of an election. I agree with what others have said.... They are pro government, which means they are right leaning atm.

So you think there shouldn't be media outrage over this because men do it all the time, so women beating men should be normalised? Let's not forget that your percentages doesn't take into account the men who don't report the crimes of women because its not taken seriously and the police will almost certainly side with the woman by default. Wanna report a woman for domestic violance? Well the woman will retaliate back by reporting the same. Guess who's gonna get done and their reputation wrecked?

Definatly looks staged but if the roles were reversed there would be a big media palava.

I remember reading somewhere that you can't consent to sex if drunk, but if both parties are drunk and the woman claims rape the next day.... The man will still get done. Everytime I've gone on a night out in the city I see women going home with drunken men, so by these rules women rape men every day.

These people do it to get attention. They just want to cause outrage. I bet her arse was half hanging out. There was outrage last year when one of the papers reported that a woman got told to leave the public pool for breastfeeding her baby. I get that babies need to feed regularly and I think it's ridiculous that a tiny minority of people are against public breastfeeding...... But a public pool.... Really.....? That's unhygienic for the rest of the people in thrr. That woman just wanted to caus…

The guy seems like a dick to me. I don't feel like she did anything wrong. Yes he has a right to a paternity test, one way carries risks.

I don't swing that way, but if my male partner went about wearing a jockstrap and the tightest and shortest shorts, during some sort of professional live stream... I would certainly go tell him to go and put some more appropriate clothes on.

Glad I'm gay. I've seen some batshit crazy women claiming things and due to societal reasons, they are believed.

Yeah that sounds bad. On top of that rent and bills go up every year whilst wages generally stay the same. I don't know much about the system in the US but if the father was to get a better job could the mother get things reassessed to get more money?

Wow some of these women are arguining that false rape cases don't happen!

Watch a lot of Roms or Rom-Com movies and it's almost always depicted this way. A man cheats - he's an ass evil. If a woman cheats, it's the man's fault and he pushed he away... Didn't treat her right etc.

I'm very pro women's rights, but also pro mens. I've always felt that when it comes to parenting women have a lot more rights. It seems quite common that when a relationship breakup happens courts almost always decide that the children stay with the mother and the men have to pay some sort of child benefits. It's hardly ever the other way around.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
