This is true, when people look at the comment scores. But on several occasions I've seen downvoted comments quoted as representing the opinions of the subreddit as a whole, without mentioning they're downvoted, which does give a very negative impression for people who just see the quote and don't check it out themselves.

Watch the Penn and Teller: Bullshit episode on it. They actually show one being done - I couldn't bear listening to the little dude's screams of pain. It's needlessly cruel, and done for no real reason. There are no real health benefits - maybe minor ones for people who do not wash properly, and it has a negative impact on feeling

Well, the guy was the mastermind. But all the same, this stands out as bullshit: In assessing the severity of the crimes, the court also took into consideration that most of the women, while capable of taking responsibility for their actions, were nevertheless "psychologically unstable". No one psychologically stable does this sort of thing at all, why is an exception made in this case?

So what if something is offensive? No one has the right not to be offended. No one. If something offends you, tough. If facebook starts censoring pages that offend people, where does it stop? When you only have 1 person doing abusing in the advert, it doesn't matter their gender, and seems pretty daft to complain. Now, if they'd cut between several shots with different people and only shown men, it'd be different. But showing just one case, without singling men out, doesn't imply anything like that, to me at least.

I don't know what they mean by this. If a man wants to rape someone, I highly doubt he will be convinced not to by some campaign against rape. He won't care about it, he'd do it anyway. You'd be as well saying murder prevention is in the hands of murderers, the people doing the murdering. If it is, you can't rely on them to do anything about it, so you must take steps yourself against it.

She's actually pretty attractive imo but you're right with point 3. It was only uncomfortable and creepy because she felt it was that way herself. This was the dudes one chance to speak to a famous person he admires, so he thinks "fuck it, I'll give it a try" and asks. It just happened to be in a lift at 4am, and as you rightly said if she had been up for it she wouldn't have thought it creepy, and no one would have heard anything.
