Get a lawyer. Get a lawyer. Get a lawyer. I made the mistake of thinking my x was going to be level headed and play fair. Nope! I didn't get a lawyer and got bent over. Her lawyer scheduled court dates without notifying me. Had private meetings with the judge that I wasn't allowed to attend. And after I got well and truly shafted the court made me pay 2/3 of her lawyer's fees.

Most of the dirty tricks women pull in court my x used them all. She had me hauled into court for an emergency court date for abuse because I let our son play on my front lawn without shoes on. He was 4 at the time and we were playing together. She would park down the street from my house and video any time I walked outside. Made and still makes my life hell. Our son is 10 now and I thank God I only have 8 more years of her crazy Ness to put up with.
