I'm not really sure what's "stupid" about that? The fact that it's automatically a crime and carries such a huge penalty, regardless of circumstances. We need somebody with knowledge of the German law for this. Plus, we need knowledge of the ruling. If the ruling really says "a half of all your possessions", and no values are set/specified (e.g. a half of the monetary value of all your possessions at date X) then no, nothing can happen to him. I, however, doubt it would be as simple as "half your shit", since such language seems to crude to belong in a judge's ruling. Point is, you're probably right.

This is also my opinion. I read the whole text twice and I really cannot deduce how OP came to the conclusion that his coworker is a feminist. Yes, all feminists are losers, but not every loser is a feminist. To me, it sounds like the guy was trying to convince himself, not OP, of that fact. Because seeing another person having high standards, and trying for better makes you feel like shit for putting up with your own misery.
