No confidence basically. Afraid to seek contact. Tell me, when you've seen him before was alcohol always involved?

Like someone else pointed out, you rejected him the first few times. I'm not saying you should have sex with someone if you don't want to, but make it clear to the person that you are not comfortable having sex on the first date. Most men have no problem or doesn't see the problem with sleeping with someone on the first date. And this is where confusion happens. If i was the guy i'd be second guessing your intentions. After the last text you made it very clear though, so either he's not interest…

I thought hookah was a cooler way of saying hooker. Lets just say this text did not make sense to me before i googled hookah.

In the long run, i'd say yes, do stay sober. But it doesn't hurt to knock down a FEW beers to get your confidence up. Especielly if you're not experienced. The key is, don't get wasted. It's not a long term solution however.

Been about 8 months for me. I occasionally see her, since we are very good friends. Over the time i've been realizing several of your points. One thing i can't get over though is number 2. Idealize. Personally i would choose the word rolemodel over idealize. She really is a good person. Shes the most honest & down to earth person i've ever met, except for her parents. That's one of the reasons i keep her as a friend. Also, number 6 is what made me break the oneitis. I toke responsibility and for…

Mentality. Have a positive mindset. It's hard to always shake things off. It also depends on the type of insult. The way it see it; There is three types of insult: The one that is meant to test you, kind of like a shit test. The one that is meant as friendly banter. If you're insecure you might view this as straight up offensive The one that is meant to hurt you. Identify the insult, and deal with it accordingly. In my opinion insulting just like flirting is a two player game. Both have to be in…

I think it depends more on the context. Serious talk - no emojis or bullshit. Wanna keep it light - add a smiley. Also you can identify if women like to keep the text light with smileys and lols. So i'd say it's really situational. From what i've seen from friends & the internet in general a lot of people seem to overdo the lmaos, smileyfaces etc without any clear context. You can't just add a "LOL XD" to a phrase like: "how is your day?" So there's definitely something to take away from your po…

It's called one night stand for a reason. Breakfast is the furthest I've gone after a one night stand, even if we both wanted more. I've even gotten back together with some of the girls, and started dating them. But the first time, when they (or you) wake up in a strangers bed. They will feel the need to leave, not all people are built for that kind of intimacy. My point is, no you're not the only one. If you like the girl, get her breakfast & and her number before she leaves and take it from th…

The success wont be direct but if you aim aigher, your standards will increase. Lowering the expectations will not benefit you in anyway, besides keep your ego safe.

I think the words has become somewhat over exaggerated. One very important thing to keep in mind is that the higher expectations you have the bigger chance of success. But yes, as you said. It's really about the mindset, being optimistic.

Yes, you're very right. It's really hard to be honest. I've been struggling with being outcome independent myself. It's just one of those things you have to try to become better at, one small step at a time. One thing to remember about words and interaction is that very social people rarely speak with nifty and clever words. Some people, obviously have incorporated it. Like Russel Brand. But there is a time to be smart, and another one to just be social. Two other things that has worked really w…

http://www.thematinggrounds.com/the-mating-grounds-podcast-episode-11-how-to-stop-being-awkward-creepy-with-women/ This podcast gave me a good perspective on how women sees men. There is a TLDR / key take away below the podcast.

Self-esteem wise, i think you're miles ahead of most of the people in this sub, me included. What i mean by this is that the mentality of:" what do they have to offer me?" While being the best mindset, doesn't work for everyone. Because they would get minimal response (of course depending on what you pursue in women). You have to be at least confident in yourself in order to pursue this mindset imo. The way i see it, you're one step ahead. And i applaud you. Most girls are as we know more emotio…

Be personal, express a lot of emotions, relaxed posture with open body language, smile when the time is right (no giggling). Good luck!

Okey, I've scratched the surface a bit. I'm going to give you another example which probably puts things into a better perspective. "If a child doesn't feel loved while he is sad than this emotional state will be "forbidden". It's sort of like like loving a persons mask, rather than the actual being. This will disturb the person because it doesn't align with the persons true self. While you make the joke and peopl laugh you are most likely not comfortable with the laughs because you don't see yo…

I understand you, and it's a good perspective on the meaning of the word. Yes i understand completely. Must have misunderstood you the first time. Now that you mention it, i sometimes feel the same way. I'll try to do legitimate research on it (behaviorism should have an answer) , and get back to you tomorrow.

Everyone is not an alpha, everyone can learn to be alpha but that doesn't mean they'll like it. Best way to establish a behavior is through positive feedback. You tell a joke, people laugh etc. This is of course pretty hard to do on your own and that is why experience in the field is so important. The most imporant thing is not to get discouraged if people don't give you positive feedback. ¨ Try not to think too much about being in a certain way, just be, do things, go out and have fun.

I'd talk to my friend about it. If he says go, i'll go. For me it has nothing to do with loyalty. Unless the girl cheated / backstabbed the guy. We all have our own life, and if i believe shes the one than she is.
/r/seduction14/11/14 09:31 PM

Of course they are. People can be quite close minded. But in this situation, as you said in previous comment; "explicitly made things clear" - Doesn't get much clearer then that. Therefor i would also say no. If she means a lot to you as a friend, you have to tell her to respect you like you respect her. The first step here is crucial, and if you nail it the second step will either be friendship or goodbye.

I'm in this situation myself, but i have yet to handle it this time. Because i know she's going to get sad, and in my mind i want to fix it with some lies... Usually what works best is just to lay it down. Tell her you're not into her or not looking for a dedicated relationship at the moment. Don't lie to her about being gay or some other stupid thing. Respect yourself and other human beings.

Listen, if you're both in bed, and starting to undress she isn't going to give a fuck about back acne. Trust me on this. As an example i want you to have this in mind: When guys go on blind dates they fear that the girl is fat. When girls go out on a blind date, they fear the guy is a psychopath or a murderer. Which after some translation comes down to trust. So again, if you are in bed with a girl she probably trusts you, and is sexually aroused by YOU. Most girls i've layed with haven't even s…

First off, i'm not talking about status here, i'm talking more about mindsets. I don't know you, and i don't know her. But it might be that you're both on very different social ladders. She has an abundance, and you do not. You value the relationship higher than she does. If that's the case you will have to invest more, to become more relevant in her social radar. This becomes an issue for you, but not for her. And you start to feel a bit desperate. Analyze the situation a bit. If she's only lau…

This is a strange fear, yet i hear this question being asked frequently by people. If we phrase is this way instead, i think we get a more reasonable fear: Will i die without ever experiencing true love? Look at this way. Your fear is motivating you as you said. You've realized that you need to work for this. Therefor every encounter you make increases the chances of you being married happily by the time you're 40. As long as this fear isn't limiting your life (which seems to be on the contrary)…

This is a huge area to cover and i don't have the time to cover it all for now, hopefully someone else can fill in. I'll do my best to give my own personal opinion and hopefully some useful insight. First of all, what is desperation, or being desperate? It boils down to being hopeless. You are in a position that is hopeless. Kind of a victim mentality . Now while being desperate, you're not thinking clear. Emotions play a huge roll in how you behave, think and act. It's like you're trying to rea…

That is the human body for you. Starving makes you smarter, to insure survival. Just like you're saying. I'm sure you can find several studies on this topic, if you google it.

Work on your body language. It takes a bit of understanding to fully grasp how important this really is. Secondly you will need to use it practical. Try holding out your arms, like jesus on the cross. Palms facing upward. That's a typical dominant pose, going back to the origins of apes. VS Sitting on your knees with your face towards the ground, that's a very passive pose. Experiments have shown that people take bigger risks after practicing the dominant (alpha) pose. And people who practice th…

Perfumes can be a very complex thing to get into to. First, there is all the chemical sides to it. Perfume X may not smell very good on you, just because it did on person Y. Then it is the personal side to it. Easiest way is to simply get a masculine scent if you are a masculine person, vice versa. Combine this with what think smell good, and you got a match. I recommend going to a perfume shop, talk to someone with a lot of experience. I know in paris they got a perfume bar, where you can take …

I have a hard time understanding what you wrote. So take this with a grain. You have preconceived notions of her. You don't really know her, you only know her through other people. Take some time to get to know her instead of listening to the rumors. Is she REALLY oblivious? Chances are she will become oblivious to you even if she isn't, now that you have that notion of her. TLDR: Get to know her. Or as you said yourself: "I've had occurrences with oblivious girls and it never went well" - Don't…

I get it. It kinda sucks to not being able to see a girl in person. Texting isn't really hot, or rather interesting. Personally i just find it really damn frustrating. And it's easy to lose attraction with boring, lame texts. It becomes shallow real quick. Just break it. Not the relationship but the rut. Stop thinking about clever things to say and hopefully she will follow. You're both just playing games here. And she follows your lead, vice versa. Maybe she also feels the exact same way? Ask h…

Well he was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which in most cases will kill you no matter what treatment. Steve however suffered from a rare pancreatic cancer which is possible to treat, and got treated with chemo & surgery. Second time he didn't get lucky however. Say what you want about the placebo effect, believing in something can help a lot, even medically. His chances of surviving with "standard" treatment after the second diagnos would be close to zero, same as the placebo and snake…

As Steve Jobs said, "Death is the greatest motivator in life". While it may be true, not all of us are dying to the same degree. It's hard to have death as a motivator when you "know" you're going to live for another ~60 years. What i want to say is, for the normal non-direct dying people there are far more realistic motivators in life.

I see. Well than it really is all up to you. I'd say go out and try. Your mentality might change once you're out and seeing other girls. No, it doesn't have to be.

There's not a whole lot to do really. Change your mindset or talk to your non-exclusive girlfriend about this. Tell her how you feel. If she's okay with you dating other girls until it gets serious than that's it. If shes not okay, than that's that.

Here is a video adressing how to attract guys. Id recommend you to start working on yourself. Adress the issues you have with your self esteem. Once the deep rooted issues are gone, you can start to work on your outer self. In terms of body language, smiling etc. Here is another video from Leo. He adresses why women tend to have lower self esteem. It could very possibly be embarrassment. How do you feel when you're thinking about a crush now? Is there anything else in your life which you know yo…

Well, we are all different. People with the same philosophy or passion in life tends find other people who share their values. Now, i've only been on that sub one time, barely noticing what it was all about. But the way i see it; There needs to be a balance, with pretty much everything in life. If you're a person who can't speak for yourself, a guy that actually let girls walk you over. Than you need to fix that balance. You need to become equal in the regard of power. For some guys i bet this s…

Lately i've been working a lot on self improvement. And i ran into this sub. Mostly because this is a category in my life that i would also like to improve. I can't be arsed right now to write a long story, so i'm going to link you this guy He got a lot more videos. But i think this hits pretty spot on. Basically stop doing what the norm is, and start doing what you actually want. Deal with your problems rather than faking it. Faking it won't help you in the long run.
