3	5 years of online dating - fun for all ages Dating apps are a colossal waste of time and effort if you’re a guy. Even if you’re a good looking guy, they’re not worthwhile. There was a study in NY where two Tinder profiles were made, one of a male model and one of a below average woman. The below average woman received overwhelmingly more matches than the male model. If you’ve been abused by several men and if you believe that men commit disproportionately high levels of violence against women then you’re naturally going to be on edge around other men.
