Based off what you’re sharing, the alternative to leaving now isn’t any brighter. I’m coming from a sincere place, man. I can tell you that I was in a near identical situation. My ex claimed I was a domestic abuser, and it nearly cost me everything. I have never had issues with the law, and I NEARLY lost a graduate degree at Berkeley, my job, and so much more. I believe that praying for knowledge of God’s will, and the power to carry that out, won’t hurt him. Lifting heavy weights, and a therapist likely wouldn’t hurt either. The guy is spiritually sick, man. He’s clearly got a lot going on and isn’t well. If you’re not a man of faith, that’s fine. Sorry if the neckbeard comment offended you
