For me it was not seeing my son, except one weekend every two weeks and me taking him to school , and then it was the loneliness, not sharing a bed with someone who you once held close, and learning to unlove somebody, it all takes time get over that but it does get easier and better and now I love doing stuff on my own, and you will too in time dude, just gotta keep moving forward and talk about how you feel mentally, don’t let any negative thoughts fester and boil over, and you’ll be ok

I’m in the same boat as you brother, I live in the uk but the principle still applies, I moved out at her suggestion, she did the cheating but I did what I thought best for myself and son, I was genuinely convinced separation would fix things now I’m living in a box room all alone, I see my son daily for school which is great but like you all my friends have settled down so going out and meeting people is quite difficult and at times that loneliness really creeps in
