2	Out of curiosity: Are there any women here? If so, what brought you here, or why are you here? I'm a woman, and studying sociology. My interest in MRA began with a disgust of vegans on tumblr. I don't find anything wrong with abstaining from all animal products. However, when you make up fake facts and cite methodologically flawed studies to support your opinions, then I have a problem. This stemmed on to finding feminists on tumblr, who were also vegans. If anything, their arguments seemed to hold up as well as christians defending god on facebook. Sorry if it's long winded, but these are some thought I had about this statistic. I was wondering if anyone had any information on enrollment rates? I think someone already said that men are more likely to enroll in harder degrees and end up dropping out before graduation. 3	While applying for bursaries and scholarships... I also think it's worth mentioning I'm a male in a nursing program. My brother got into university for being a minority in the program he applied for. His GPA was average and his SAT score was average, but he applied to a nursing program at a four year university and was accepted where one of his female friends from school with a similar GPA/SAT/high school experience did not. 2	Am I wrong in finding this a little offensive? How ironic, but at least you can recognize that whatever happened with you and that man was an isolated case. I think a lot of people tend to generalize anecdotal experiences like that and apply them to the entire population of gay men.
