I drink whiskey a lot and I'm not a fan of the taste personally.

yeah, I like this. A lot of PUA stuff is advice on how to raise your value or how to have that value come across. If you really are that high-value, then just be yourself; there's no need to project further. You don't necessarily have to neg yourself, humblebrag, or lie, but just be more of a listener and be a little more modest.

A girl I was into told me this once (she had been seeing someone else at the time I met her, so things were moving slowly). My response was "I have no interest in being just friends with you" We dated for a year after that

fake it til you make it man. It might feel illogical if you overthink it, just try not to. It does work after a period. Think of it this way: if you were trying to close a deal with a client, do you think it would help more if you told him upfront "yeah man I'm actually just out of school, you're my first client" or "well I did some work a few months ago but you'll be my only client", OR do you think it would help you close if you projected that you had many clients and solid business and experi…

I think we need more emphasis on content. I originally subscribed here because I like the frequent posts to videos and blogs by pros or giving specific examples, that's what I find interesting. Nowadays I go to the frontpage and it's nothing but self.seduction posts. no offense to some of the very awesome posters here giving good advice, that's just not really what I'm here for, to read about some dudes fucked situation or motivational quote, and then a big circlejerk around it. some things I re…

thats the best way. I think almost every time it's going to start with a girl youve been seeing for awhile, and my feeling is that to avoid jealousy issues ruining the relationship it's best to at least make her think it was all her idea. if you force the issue she's just gonna think you wanna do her friends instead of framing as expanding the horizons of your own relationship

it'd be to to let her know in whatever way your comfortable that you don't want to settle down, and let her decide if that means it over or not

I asked a girl what her 'story' was at a party once and literally got her story. like puberty to that moment, about 2 hours worth. Kept trying to leave and she wouldn't give me an out. Careful.

OK so I got a little excited at where it was going and posted without finishing...but my idea for the relevance here was around the part where they are at the bar and the '3 hottest girls they'd ever seen' were 'strangely attracted to us'. Had the author not gotten shitfaced drunk this may have gone in a more relevant direction. Still awesome story though.

are you working on women your attracted to, or just going at whoever shows interest? What I'm imagining your feeling I've felt before, when I've been practicing different things or just plain bored flirting with girls I really had no interest in. I think it comes from a fear they may become attached and then you've gotta be an ass to a girl that would be very hurt. This happens with very low value girls that you lay it on a little too thick with. That's my side anyway.

I dunno about that, you implant "cheat" in her head and her conscience will probably kick in.

So true about fake it til you make it. It's all about body language and demeanor and saying either nothing or just enough. Every girl I've ever dated has mentioned that I give off confidence like sunshine, and yet inside I know that the truth couldn't be more the opposite.

coffee?! after an opening like that? Unless coffee in your book means at her house at night, that's not a good idea.

browse around this guy's blog: http://roissy.wordpress.com/ There's a lot of good PUA stuff there, but he's based in DC and a good deal of his personal recaps should give you tips on the DC scene. And I'm not a resident or anything, but the Clarendon ballroom was teeming with ass when I went in the summer.

This is a pretty good summary in my opinion. The 'alpha rules' are for those that need a structure to become more alpha-like. Those that are already there naturally, well carry on doing whatever it is you do then.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
