No, I have known men that were garbage, substance abusers, unemployed, health issues from years of drugs and partying, abusive, and violent. They were loved, defended, and supported by their kids. Those kids thought their father could do no wrong even if he did something terrible, even if he was making their life hard and straining their resources. They loved him unconditionally. I would say it is more common for women and dogs but men can get to that spot too.

No offense but if you believe anything from pizzagate you need to tune down your seeking the truth receptors. Nothing about pizzagate remotely approaches truth or reality. I can fathom you think different it's actually really easy, you're easily mislead and lack normal human faculties.

Stating that men of a previous era were more violent is not an emotional statement, I may not have provided sources to my argument but I figured that any person would reasonable accept that assertion based on the shift in public opinion of wife beating, rapes and simple violence from the two times. Colorful language is not emotion and it was not central to the argument. Beating people in the past was more commonplace than it is now, we are in an era of extremely low crime rates. People that beat…

This is not poisoning the well... you are not some third party that is being given information about another group which is used to erroneously color your opinion of said group. We are literally comparing, from your early statement, that people were better 120 years ago to the men now. I didn't discredit them which is the crux of poisoning the well as much as laid forth an argument that we are better more humane people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoning_the_well Not to mention you are almo…

Bro there is less crime, violence, disrespect and out right assholery now than 120 years ago. Fuck those people in the past, the majority of them were fucking assholes by modern standards. You can't be this dumb to believe that men in the past were better than the men of today.

If you can't see how your life is giving you a skewed perspective of what is normal interactions between strangers than I don't know what to say. Do you like a civilized society where people respect each other's personal space and agency or do you want to devolve into real violence?

Yes every girl tells it to you to stroke your ego, now do they do it after you breakup? Trying to get you to sleep with them even when they are in a new relationship? Married? Believe me when I say this I am very good I can tell faking and lying and women don't fake with me.

Naw, I date a girl now who has a crazy high sex drive and I don't think she would cheat on me for two reasons. She is loyal, yes she wants cock, but that doesn't erase how she sees the world and her sense of justice. Secondly, my dick is big and for a long time I didn't think so so I learned to try like a motherfucker in bed. I am usually much better than any woman's previous lovers, most girls rate me as the best or near the best. So if my girl is like her and she is faithful I am sure she can …

What's wrong with it? Mother stereotype doesn't keep children safe, it has prevented very little and has mostly created a worldview that harms children. If you want to keep kids safe from pedophiles then watch your family members and their friends family like a hawk. These people are most likely to molest your kids.

It is only hypocritical if we are against gendered slurs against men which I don't really care about as I view that as trivial.

Care to elaborate? If you want me to prove my case I will point to how the social safety nets evolved to cover more and more people going from just covering a few into the institutions we have today.

Yes but this system can be a stepping stone to single payer, if you think your going to enact single payer in this political climate then you're crazy. People have a huge mistrust of government.

Everyone must pay for health insurance whether it is through taxes or by buying it, this is how all other systems in the 40 industrialized nations work. There is no way not to pay for insurance or to fund single payer if we don't all pay.

Right like how we need to scrap all of civil rights in order to get black civil rights passed or scrap all marriages to recreate an institution for gay marriage? If you go that route you will never get anything done in this lifetime. Institutions and policies take time to shape and are usually not perfect when first implemented. End the bill and you will wait 50 years before some other meaningful legislation can be passed.

It would be better to change the parts we don't agree with than restart on Obamacare. It has taken 30 years for some kind of heathcare reform and I am afraid this is our best opportunity.

I doubt most rapes are false, although I would wager a good percent 8% to 15% maybe false. Don't say things like that it hurts our cause and makes us all look bad. Women get raped and it is terrible, and men get thrown in jail by women that lie and it is terrible. Since rape is usually a he said she said thing we should push for strict punishment of false accusers. I would be ok with her serving double his time and lets pay the real victim in this. This young man missed out on a great education …

I get that sentiment but you shouldn't try to change the discourse at the expense of vilifying a whole group of people.

No I think you are probably in the best position to tak about the differences in treatment you received when you were viewed as a girl to now were you are viewed as a man. People like you can provide important insight to how society may be hurting men. So please come in and make yourself comfortable.

I'm gonna guess most of these people were from high school or college, do you know how many high school friends I have on facebook? Zero. I don't talk to anyone from high school because you know what most of those people were a waste of time. Get rid of more people in your life and only surround yourself with those that are truly worth your time.

As opposed to men of the past that used to play cards, do more recreational drinking, gamble, watch TV, listen to the radio, etc? Video games are very stimulating, you wouldn't look down on a man that plays chess in his free time would you? So why would you look down on someone that plays SC2?

Except asains that know where the term was derived from but since you don't know any asians that are offended nobody is. Most people aren't offended by the term "gyped" but say that to a gypsy and see if they are offended. Not enough Asians in the world for the term to be considered offensive...

You think people choose to be offended or that they merely feign offense to simply end the argument in their favor? I don't really know what to say to a world view based on so much cynicism. Are you offended or upset when feminists say all men are rapists? That shit offends me, I don't choose to be offended, I am offended.

So basically your a selfish asshole and even if people are justly offended by your words you have no remorse. If we are asking people to respect men and help us shouldn't we try to be as respectful as possible to the greatest number of people?

Really that seemed more like a rationalization than an apology, she defends her misguided ways more than she talks about how to change the damage she has done. She even doesn't offer to negate the policy she created and still says she prefers a woman takes her child to the bathroom. It seems like she doesn't want people to be mad t her anymore but is more than willing to continue to be a bigot. I don't care about her blog but she certainly hasn't atoned for her wrong doing with these few words.

I think you are right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_is_a_Jew%3F Some how I got this mixed up in a religious study course, my mistake. Maybe my analogy would work if it was a person that considered themselves jewish by their fathers side and hasn't gone through a convertion. Although I still believe people have the right to know who they are dealing with before becoming intimately involved and that no self respecting trans person would omit this aspect of their life.

I dont think you understand judiasm, a child is only jewish if born to a jewish woman in orthodox judiasm. This sect doesn't allow for converts as in their belief you can't convert. There are secs when you can't have kids with a convert and if I mistakenly cited the wrong group then in your mind change it to the right one and roll with it. Stop trying to win an argument and understand that for some people the past has meaning.

She would if he was an orthodox Jew and she was a reformist Jew. There are stricter rules about conversions with different sects.

If I were to have sex with a girl and she was beautiful and the sex was great but after having sex with her I found out she was/used to be a murder or habitual non condom user or a an alien pretending to be human I would be upset. You have the right to know the past of a person you are seeking a relationship with. I wouldn't/don't/recommend sleeping with someone that won't reveal their sexual/gender history.

OK lets go based on your argument of aesthetics, would you preform cosmetic surgery on a child for a condition that is not visible in public? Children aren't concerned with aesthetics, to a certain degree, and we all learn to grow with our bodies and celebrate our uniqueness. We don't laser moles off of children's faces or remove other visible blemishes because at times these attributes are an asset physically. Women that naturally have small breasts are encouraged to appreciate their assets as …
