There’s also the issue of female-dominated fields, like nursing, which will see impacts with an aging population. I’m also not seeing substantiation for total male dominance, as you’ve listed strength while other skills (as well as simply bothering to do a task) see even gender distribution or occasionally even female bias. Even in pre-technological areas. I know less women who are carpenters, but one of the best carpenters I know is a woman. I can’t account for the lower participation, but I don’t think there’s any roadblocks beyond strength when they’re involved (and that can be accounted for and even compensated for by higher skills in things like aesthetics and design).
