oh gosh, i wish i clarified more in my post! we both had gotten sick at different points during our visit (him monday night to tuesday, me wednesday night to thursday), so he outlined after that he wished i would have done more to help him, such as offering to go to the store and get supplies or finding ways to cool him down when he was overheating. i wholeheartedly agree and won’t make this mistake next time. i definitely will be more intentional with the way that i look after him. and for the …

this makes a lot of sense, thank you so much! i really understand your example about the future children and can see what he means now. my boyfriend did speak to me about financial independence on my side and wants to see me grow into a strong role with him, where i can lean on him as a leader and also have my own responsibilities (eg. taking care of the household/kids) i think i went wrong in my thinking when i thought him ‘protecting/providing’ meant that i could be taken care of all the time,…

thank you so much! i think i conflated strength and leadership in my mind, but this clears up the difference in “feminine strength”

i like to think of it as my partner would be the table and i’m just there to decorate and make him the best he can be :) as in, i would be there to support him and look after him by caring and showing my appreciation, listening, cooking, cleaning, whatever it is he needs, but he is the key component to our relationship. (psa - i’m fairly new to the rpw community so any addition + advice to this is greatly appreciated!)

inferior? and use them? i agree God made us this way, we aren’t made for physical labor and we are definitely not as strong as men. but that does not make us inferior, nor does it mean that we use men (not counting those that actually do for their money, wealth, etc.) but a grounded woman would be thankful for men and provide to them what they can, not use them?

what do you mean women’s nature to use men to make their lives easier? could you expand upon that?

i feel like “right person wrong time” can only be said in hindsight. if a couple tries once, breaks up, and then gets back together a few years down the line when things are different and/or they have different ways of life which makes it possible to sustain a healthy and stable relationship, then yes it was actually the right person at the wrong time. but i completely agree with you - in other circumstances, with the running through others/commitment differences, it is definitely not the right …

honestly, about 5-6 months ago i would have said i was a hardcore feminist, leftist, and liberal. but that all dramatically changed when i had a conversation with my best friend and we were talking about andrew tate and “traditional couples.” while he was just trying to have a conversation with me, i got defensive and argued against his own thoughts. he probed me with questions where i used my ‘feminist knowledge’ to answer and ofc those answers made no sense (aka would you rather date someone w…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
