Time is limited in life. Betting on multiple horses is better because you develop a taste of what you want. Gain experience on multiple fronts: social, sex etc. And it reduces scarcity to make better choices and depending on your endgame you get your dream girl instead of just a girl and finding out it wasn't your dreamgirl
