No offense but we register for the draft for emergency protocols only. The likelihood that a draft goes into effect is slim to nil as most wars aren't fought by ground troops these days. The army has plenty of volunteer ground troops if that was the case. If we activated the draft, our country is fucked already. Nixon made military service voluntary and essentially eradicated the necessity of a draft in 72/73. Men registering is a formality. Yes women should be registered as well, but what's the…

I am a single parent to my niece since she was orphaned at 4. I did both roles for her until she was an adult. I've been wished both Happy Father AND Mother's days many times. It didn't offend me a bit. I also didn't think it took away from actual women. There are unfortunately a lot of kids growing up without a parent present and the parent there does both. I think thats the reason by saying it. If you want it to stop, society needs to work on making parents actually be present in their child's…

Doesn't matter where you're born. If there's a war and you're a male, you're expected to fight. Look at men in Ukraine, they are denied access out of the country and shamed and ostracized if they don't fight. You'll get "drafted" some way or another. Our systen in the US at least makes it a lottery which tries to make selection to fight based on chance.

I think that after the comments made about AOCs appearance and personality by the far right have afforded AOC the right to clap back. Miller is a horrible human being. He deserves to have his ego bruised. Y'all should be focused on the fact that the government is looking to start a war and send men to die.

If there is an equal % of annoying gays to straights, then that means that the percentage of annoying gays is higher per capita in the gay community than the straight since gays only represent roughly 8-10% of the population. I'm sorry, I'm stoned and it took me 10 minutes to write that because I didn't know if I worded that right.

The worst thing to come out of this was the enormous waste of public money spent searching for these fucking fools Especially since the Navy said they heard the implosion an hour after sub lost communication, and STILL went through a search- knowing full well there was nothing left.

I work on a loading dock part time. There are women working there too. There are cameras all over the place but not inside the trucks. Boss asked why I won't go in a truck with co-worker who is female. I explained that being in an enclosed un-watched room with a female I do not know is putting myself at risk. If I brush against her will it be construed as harassment? I'd rather not take the risk. He didn't really know what to say but let me go about my working around person. Probably get called …

. 99%+ of women are as stuck as the men are. It's not really like women can just turn around and leave And I see a lot of posts and pictures of them picking up arms preparing to fight as well. Female parliament members are also required to stay like their male counterparts. I just watched an interview with one. She has an AK and vows to fight until the death.

I like being single, but I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not lonely. I'm also not going to get into a relationship with anyone because I'm lonely. I need more substance besides loneliness to go further. Do I feel pressure? Yes. Societal norms aren't my cuppa tea however and I'd rather strive for my own happiness than others expectations. I'm 43 and have 0 debt beyond my monthly bills. I've got money in bank and a bit of freedom to do things when I want. I wanna find a partner in a similar situatio…

Ive noticed this shocking trend lately of people proclaiming themselves to be communist or socialist along with waving Communist flags It's because in theory Communism sounds almost utopian. Shared power, equitability and labor. End of class warfare etc. People think it's gonna solve the problem between the divide of the rich and the poor. True communism has never been tried and successful. It just ends up with one leader and worse control.

I don't doubt she was raped, she reported immediately and had a kit taken. I also don't doubt she made a false ID of this guy. Now whether she was misled by police or not- SHE swore under oath that this was the guy, even though she didn't identify him in lineup. She's made no comment. He won't get an apology, because an apology means fault and she doesn't want to get sued. Meanwhile this guys life has been destroyed.

He could either fight a man with a gun or leave and increase custody after taking legal action But why was the guy there in the first place? He isn't a parent and he's not married to the mother. He has a gun at the ready, like he was expecting it. Why's there a loaded gun unsecured in the house when a kid is supposed to be there? It's too convenient for me. Should he have left, yes. I don't think this is the first time mom has fucked with custody though.

There's a reason people say don't fight somebody that has a gun unless you know they're gonna kill you. When you have a gun pointed at you, then shot at your feet, that's telling me they're planning on killing you.

It's not self defense as no one's life was in jeprody [except chads] and the shooter left to get a gun and intentionally escalated the situation. This right here. Chad wasn't going to use his fists and Kyle was trying to egg him on into a fight. Kyle got pissed that Chad was using restraint and grabbed the gun. How anyone can't see this was a set up shocks me.

His autobiography "the long road out of hell" is still one of my favorite books ever and really changed my viewpoint on the guy. He is highly intelligent, well spoken, enjoys kink and BDSM, is vocal about it. Says a lot of his stage presence is an act to get a rise out of people. They judge him because he's different. It's a shame. I really hope he didn't knowingly assault someone though. That would be a shame.

Worked in a gay bar for many years. I was never treated like a piece of meat until a straight woman came in with her friends. EVERY TIME. I had my ass grabbed, and on more than one occasion my genitals grabbed. They'd pull their shirts down and ask what I thought if their tits and try to get Me to touch them. Men can get violated too. The double standard with which we treat harassment is disgusting.

woman should be able to have kids You helped there also buddy. And did it 3x. You shouldn't expect others to pay for your kids. That's your and your ex's responsibility. If it's too much- get a lawyer, but if you think his pay factors into it- you're wrong. That would only effect and end alimony.

I was referring to the Ask men sub not this one. This sub, which so many deem "toxic" and "anti-women" has been far more friendly than that one. They've actually been really supportive when I've discussed having issues with women who think it's ok to grab me because of my sexuality and no one has ever devalued my opinion on men's issues. /r/Askmen has some work to do
/r/MensRights30/06/21 07:51 PM

Oddly enough, I'm the "not obvious" gay (which I hate using as a descriptor but it works here) and most people who I don't outright tell- assume I'm straight. I deal with the same things ALL men do with the added perk of having my sexuality questioned and analyzed for not being gay enough. You don't need to apologize though. I'm used to it. There's still a lot of learning among both genders on how to be respectful and welcome everyone's opinions. Can only hope we do better.

I sometimes feel the ask men sub is a bit toxic in its own right. There's a lot of guys on there who don't think gay men fall into the men category. I'm still a man despite my sexuality, I still face issues as a man in society- sometimes they don't always respond in kind.

I worked in a gay bar for a few years. I was grabbed, groped, and touched inappropriately by women multiple times and was expected to just be ok with it. I had my shorts pulled down once when I was carrying empties to the basement. It was so humiliating, but I was expected to just laugh it off. It really opened my eyes to the double standard we have with respecting bodies and personal space. I tell people about it and the reaction is mixed, a lot of times its written off as no big deal. Took me 8 months to get an appointment with a counselor when I hit a depression after my Dad died a few years back. I kept telling them I was really low and needed help and they didn't seem to care much. My city also eliminated its mental hospital and a lot of hospitals have cut psychiatric units. They won't turn over power No- the younger generations do not vote. Although the number of 18-25 y/o voters has risen in recent elections , there is still a significant # of voters in that age range that do not vote. Meanwhile everyone over 55 votes in every election. You want a shift in the government make voting mandatory and make it a holiday.

. If a girl is not getting paid attention to, she'll start acting out to seek attention. The better looking they are, the faster they go on tilt. You should see what happens when they're in a gay bar and no one is fawning all over them. It's soul crushing, they start asking the guys to feel their boobs and ask if they're hot. It's fascinating to watch. And also really sad.

There's a scene with Akim's son and daughter where they have a lot of on screen sexual chemistry and it's fucking weird. I think they were going in a different direction with the movie. When Leslie Jones meets Akim again, she is almost surprised he is claiming parentage like he wasn't the parent to begin with. I thought they were going to make him not be the son and then end up with his daughter at the end. Such a shitty movie all around though.

The way you talk about women really concerns me, Do you need to speak to a manager? I don't particularly like/condone violence. However, if someone hits me- I tend to snap. We live in a society that teaches us it's wrong to hit women, and we diminish female aggression towards men. Women need to understand that there is no double standard anymore. If you hit a man, you run the risk of getting hit back and not everyone is capable of holding back. If you don't want to get hit- don't hit first.

I love comics, it's no secret that women historically don't take huge roles in the books. The demographic for readers is mainly white males 15-40. Women heroes were added as supporting roles and storylines (Jean Grey, Wonder Woman, are exceptions.) What many fans find frustrating is that they give these undeveloped characters major movies and the story ends up falling flat. I agree that its pandering to the social climate of today. Don't take minor characters and give them a story that doesn't w…

I agree, metal people treat each other so nicely. The aggression in the pits are not meant as attacking, its a form of expression. At the end of the show we buy each other beers and all is good. I took my niece to a Carrie Underwood show and thought my dick was going to get chopped off by the aggressive, angry, women,

Make it easy here- don't publicly name the accused and let them have a fair trial or opportunity to clear their name first, I can walk down to the police station, accuse someone of rape that could've happened 6 months ago, there is no physical evidence left- but I'm allowed to remain anonymous and they get publicly shamed? That's what's wrong here. Its fucked up.

I find this concept existing in China currently as very strange. China for years (up until recently) had limits on one child per family- since culturally there was favor towards males. There is a large gap in gender with men out numbering women 2-1. I guess I just assumed that women would be easily matched up and there wouldn't be women around to date.

What are the statistics of innocent people sitting on death row in the US currently though? How many times have we put people to death and finding out they were innocent afterwards?

No shit it isn't how it works. Doesn't mean the current system works either, it cost 15,000 a year (minimum) to keep someone in prison. This thing is 20ish, she lives 50 years - well you do the math.

Only if we keep letting them appeal it, executed 6 months after sentencing. No more death row, no more constant appeals- you choose to kill, you choose to face death. Country is too easy on criminals. Prison shouldn't be a country club. Edit- I do believe irrefutable evidence, DNA, Video, confession, etc. If there is doubt, then that should be considered. This bitch was involved- no doubt.

I'm not claiming the US is innocent, but the majority of conflicts through Asia, Africa and South America have been linked to colonialism. And trust me I don't need to read history. I've read enough of it when I was studying it at University. If I wasn't 3 cocktails deep I'd probably be refuting you with some great facts- but its Americas birthday. I'm celebrating.

The French started Vietnam. Timor was a UN issue started by the Indonesian people but a direct result of Portugese colonialism, and Cambodia was yet again- the French. Every country you've mentioned and a majority in South America were direct results of colonialism, which America didn't cause, start or encourage. The US colonies were respected and governed fairly. Go yell at Europe for that bullshit.

Those numbers only represent 2% of all deaths during that period. Where's the outcry for the other 98%? Oh they weren't Jewish and didn't fit your narrative. What if 70% were women, does that now make them anti- women? Edit- the Polish government is tired of being associated with the Nazi party and didn't have a choice with these camps being dumped in their borders. However calling them Polish camps makes it seem like the Polish were complicit- and they sure as hell weren't. The number of French…

I live in America- its that bad. We don't try to hide it. There are problems here, we confront them daily. To downplay it is foolish. We are a country going through growing pains- seeing the rest the world relying upon us and not dealing with our own issues on the home front. The media isnt reporting anything that isn't happening. It might be overhyped but it is happening. We've had school shootings (too many,) we've had Nazi rallies and pro-nationalist rallies, we have a president who isn't wha…

Well they weren't Polish, they were German death camps built in occupied territory of Poland. Arguably besides the Jews, the Poles were equally hated by the Germans and they put 1.9 million non-Jewish Poles to death in those camps. The Poles are sensitive to anything associating them as collaborators. Its a pride thing more than anything. Of course the current nationalism that's driving them closer to Russia isnt helping their cause currently.

Shouldn't a student be made aware of threats and potential assaults on campus and who to avoid. Half the reason they name accused is because they're trying to see if more will come forward that didn't report it. Shouldn't men be afforded that privilege? I'd want to know
/r/PussyPassDenied13/05/18 01:17 PM
4

Because if it was a male as I see it, they would be named. However lack of precedent doesn't afford me evidence because most men do not report assault. I don't understand people who can't respect an opinion without demanding evidence. You want evidence, look up how men have been dragged through the mud on false accusations. Then find me an instance of it happening to a woman. Historically women who are accused of sleeping with students, pedophilia and assault are viewed less harshly than men and…

Calling someone anti-woman is wrong. I'm not anti-woman, I'm against women not being treated as men would be in the exact same scenarios. I could say you're anti-woman for believing they should be treated differently. Are we not striving for equality? And with that equality doesn't it mean the pussy pass no longer works? Isn't that what this sight is about?
/r/PussyPassDenied13/05/18 12:55 PM
6

It seems like relative bullshit and if this was a man, he would be named. What this says is that everyone should claim "victim" status so that when they become the accused they can be shielded. Do you see how illogical this is? Just because you think something is just, doesn't mean its justified.
/r/PussyPassDenied13/05/18 12:39 PM
9

Just because she is the "victim" in another case shouldn't afford her the right to protection when she is accused. When the school suspended her, found her culpable in not getting consent, her status as a victim becomes mute. People deserve to know they have a sexual predator in their midst, isn't that the reason given when men are named and accused?
/r/PussyPassDenied13/05/18 12:31 PM

As a woman aren't you benefiting from all the "issues" the feminists are arguing for. Renounce those gains and your benefits. Don't sit and say "we are treated as honorary men" and expect that to be acceptable. I fight for African American rights, that doesn't mean I am treated as an "honorary African American," nor do I expect to. One of the biggest mental health crisis' facing this (the US) country is a generation of men around aged 35 experiencing depression and loneliness. I'm trying to find the article I read this in, but there is plenty of info out there on it. Sadly not enough mental health resources for men and its going to lead to a spike in suicide rates in men 35-45.

I appreciate the "support" but if you really wanna make things easier, go tell your miserable feminist friends how you feel and convince them. They aren't going to listen to us and we aren't gonna try. I'm not going to be accused of "mansplaining" anything anymore. Women will figure it out when guys just stop trying anymore, and it's slowly moving that way.

I'm having a hard time with this. I go to drag shows all the time, they certainly aren't a place for a kid. Plain and simple, there is extreme sexuality, language, drug use, etc...I don't care what the kid wants to dress like, seriously it doesn't matter, but being in an adult environment isn't doing him a service. The kid still needs to be a kid and experience life. Sounds like mom wants to be a fruit fly and have a best friend.

I am completely uncomfortable going to the gym with women around. We have the same insecurities about body image that women do- sometimes worse. As men we aren't constantly reassured that our bodies are ok, and to be comfortable with who we are- we are expected to just "man up" and lose weight or get a six pack. So if that makes me a guy who sits while he pees, so be it.

I don't think the word manipulated applies here. The guys had sex with her, they wanted it too. She manipulated the story after to either cover her shame or manipulate the other guy she was into. Regardless, she is a horrible person, likely not insane, and deserves to have the book thrown at her. The school needs to make this right too.
