Think of it as visiting a different part of God's family. Have you talked with any close mentor's in your life about this? I know i've been given encouragement by my own mentor to explore what different church's are about. Sidenote: see if you can bring a friend with you, helps to have a wingman of sorts to riff off of when making those new connections.

On that note, something i miss is going to some house parties that bridged many different churches. usually at a missional community type home of dudes and they'd throw things like rowdy Halloween parties. Will try and resurrect this. cheers.

Wouldnt say that church is my entire life, but its certainly a bigger portion. Definitely looking to get out on my university's campus more when assignments die down a little more. Would you be able to further elaborate on you viewing this as a me problem and not a church problem? I don't disagree with what you're saying.

Yeah, it's definitely sentimentality/guilt holding me back. I'm glad I'm broadening my horizons and attending another church service and meeting new people.

I do not doubt that haha, but long term, I've got a youthful preference. Besides most of the women in an older age bracket are married already or left to join their husband at a different church!

Wish I would have jumped ship. Probably shoulda jumped ship 2-3 years ago when I noticed this, but Covid killed in person activities anyways when I would have jumped. Good question, thanks.

A friend and I have gone a step further and just gone to the other church I was invited too. Make our own meet and greet opportunities haha.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
