6	42 years ago, at 19 and 17, my wife and I "fell in love" and got married. She tossed out her birth control pills without telling me and *I wasn't permitted to have a vasectomy until I'd had two kids, by Texas state law. So much for a man's right to not* father a child. I think this is the most likely scenario. Some doctor found it against his/her personal morals and came up with an excuse. However, this did all happen 42 years ago, which makes it both likely that weird laws are in place and harder to confirm his claim with online documentation of said laws.	/r/MensRights	27/07/09 01:34 PM
