If you ask me, the main thing is pride. Who would want to admit that they advocate for doing something thats objectively harmful? I get exactly how you feel. I'm 21 and also started researching it when I was 12. I was born in a liberal part of california and almost nobody was circumcised growing up. I've avoided women all together.
