Guy contributes to the technological progress of humanity, i.e. the shit you're interacting with him through. Sleepynate is your daddy, and don't make me sith saber your ass.

Holy shit sleepynate, you are my daddy! Thanks a lot for the advice. I am going to start doing this. One thing that always bugged me was what happens afterward -- they perhaps think "what the fuck was that guy doing / why did he just talk to me" as opposed to "wow some people really nice, like that guy!" Either way, I am the fuckin' CEO! Time to get out there, chief!

i might tomorrow. my smile is okay (though I am self-conscious about it), it's just when I'm speaking. I just feel awkward.

What about when your two front teeth show when you speak almost like a rabbit (lol) but not as intense as you're probably thinking. That is my problem, and I'm a fairly good looking guy otherwise. I become self-conscious while talking, especially if it's up close with someone.

the advantage of coffee is that it isn't readily apparent as a date, especially if you ask someone you kind of know. the movies with a stranger is a clear indicator of you asking for a date.

Girl flaking shit test? No such thing. Why? Because the minute she flaked (by definition, without even contacting you), she indirectly stated she didn't respect you, so she is not worth your time.

If you really like her, it shouldn't be hard to talk to her on the phone, for hours on end even. If you're just looking to laid, then obviously you've done something wrong to attract her emotionally rather than just sexually.

I have this sort of mentality. Work on starting a company now. Talk to everyone now. Get yourself known now. Network now. Meet with women now. Because you may not be alive or as well-off later. BUT... when others see how hard you strive, how the hell do you explain something like this genuinely because usually they think you're crazy when you speak like this.

What if you apologize with a smile but then walk off? You were sad, yes, but you only vaguely hinted at that while you walked off? (After finding out she had a boyfriend, for example.) (Yes, I know, the one guy who said "oh that's cool" blows my reaction out of the water, but it is what I did at the time, and I'd like to know, what do you think she thought about that? I am pretty high-value, though I say that as modestly as I can, for information purposes.)

Looks and all that... my friend, that is all insignificant and, as a result, inconsequential in the grand scheme of things... in the cosmic perspective. Put your mind to work, create something, a legacy if you will... to leave behind. And watch the respect and admiration flow in... and yes, even those women you once thought were "out of your league" (oh, what would they be thinking now while seeing you on TV...).
/r/seduction07/08/11 10:34 PM
2

Not even that... it goes beyond just looking at HB10 or any hot girl as a 'piece of meat'. You should, before anything else, genuinely be working on something interesting, not just "be ridiculously cool." This way, the girls will come... but at the same time, you are contributing to society, and really... the respect and admiration you get from everyone trumps a bit of sex. The thing about the homes is great unless you live with your parents (you're in college or something). In that case, not really your own house, not "your" basement, etc. Just "your" room... floating in the middle of the house. Worse if it's an apartment.

Agreed. I was looking around for other funny articles and came upon that described something like "the era of the hot smart girl dating the hot dumb guy is over!!" Right... what about the hot dumb girl dating the hot dumb guy, or hot dumb girl dating the hot smart guy.

By and large, there's no point to telling women to "give nerds a chance", because women won't. That's why this subreddit exists. This is true. It's like telling a guy who can get women on a whim to go try dating some less attractive girls (personality and looks-wise). Maybe a few will try, but the vast majority will just think that they have the power and what the purpose is of changing and working hard.

Sorry, maybe stupid question, but how do you deal with stuttering as a result of this unrelaxed, insecure state (in other words, anxiety due to [subconscious] neediness)? This is for both girls and work-related things.

It's like Sergey Brin interviewing potential employees during Google's early days. His last question would be something like "I'm going to go outside and get something [food]. I'll give you 5 minutes to think of something complicated that I don't know and explain it to me in detail." If he 'wasted' his time with an unqualified candidate, he still could have potentially learned something new from the interview.

Wow, thanks a lot! Sometimes I wish I didn't have these feelings or urges to just be with someone -- that feeling of wanting something more. Then I could focus 100% on other... more important things in life. I think sooner or later this will happen, but I hope it doesn't leave me calloused. I want to get out there and have a few successes like you said, and that should allow me to believe that it is indeed possible. I've only asked out two girls and they both said no. Yes, you need to absorb it. You need to feed on all that negative energy, and turn it into positive energy via using it as fuel for motivation. Once you have mastered this, with your endless reserves of energy, you will be able to do ANYTHING!

I keep thinking that if you weren't attractive, she would've walked away inside to her friends or just ignored you or tell you to get the fuck away from her. I can't help keep these thoughts out of my head, even though I know I'm at least average attractive (have been told I'm hot several times, I just don't see it). Help. Great job by the way. The eye contact thing was great!

A lot of the responses to "I have a boyfriend" come off this way. I wouldn't try very many of them, especially if I saw one as girlfriend (long-term) potential.

Yeah this shit applies for girls that you meet in bars or something, or girls that you see as hook-up material and nothing more. You really shouldn't risk saying something like this that is indirectly insulting their boyfriend (don't go ahead assuming, without convincing evidence that she is lying to you) if you actually wanted to go out with her for long-term relationship potential.
/r/seduction16/07/11 02:35 AM

I did the beta response for "I have a boyfriend!" -- "Oh, I'm sorry!" and I went away, didn't say anything further even Was fucking pathetic now that I think about it, but she was the first girl I ever asked out and I was pretty elated afterward for just doing it. Obviously, in retrospect, I should have have said something to break the tension instead of just walking away (we kind of knew each other). Question: if you are looking to ask a girl out for girlfriend prospects, not just hookups, then…

Eh I don't know. I'm really not that interested in going for shit tests... really don't have time for that kind of stuff. The average person's response being "thanks but no thanks" just seems like a classy way of saying no.
/r/seduction09/07/11 07:03 PM

I think so too. It was a very classy and respectful way of doing it. I just couldn't help but wonder, though. It's like she was considering saying yes but then something snapped in her mind, and it's like she was programmed to say no. (Hinting at the family pressure thing maybe?)

Yeah as long as you laugh after it, this is freakin' golden. In the event the situation does get awkward, just say lightly "I'm just kidding" while laughing it off, and move onto another topic.

Honestly man, this sounds great and all, but if a girl I was not attracted to handed me her phone and "told" me to put my number in her phone and that she'll call me to set something up, I would be angry, for lack of a better word. Same thing if you reverse the situation.
/r/seduction23/04/11 10:11 PM

I agree with everything you said and thanks for that. But I personally have a question that I've been struggling with myself: Get away from this mindset. No girl is out of your league unless you put her outside of it. Assume she is attracted to you and feels like that about you. Go from there. I understand the "not out of your league" part, and also assuming that she is attracted to you already and she wants to speak with you does wonders for your confidence at that moment in time. But, I hate t…

/r/seduction15/04/11 11:26 PM

Yeah man it's hard to get over this kind of one-girl thing... very hard because after all that is, for many of us, the end-goal sometime down the line. However... like the others have said, just follow your other passions and have fun with other girls. If she comes back, she comes back... don't chase her any longer at least for a while, and only if you run into her coincidentally catch up.

Great advice. I agree that doing things rather than just thinking will force you to take your mind off whatever was frustrating you. Engaging with people (no motive in mind) is a nice one.

That is true, but some baskets are bigger than others, such as for example looking for a job or looking to get a top-notch score on an exam. These baskets are supposed to be heavier, and although there may be many, some baskets are easily discarded whereas others are not. The abundance mentality, such as is the case with chasing women, only works for some things. I agree with your point about diversifying your worth in many areas, just like with stocks/financial investments for example, and look…

Music does help, and actually realizing and thinking about what happened, why it happened, and how you can solve it shows some determination and courage in the face of (current) defeat. It's just the risk of getting sucked into thinking about it at the wrong time and everyone and everything else around you is not worth looking into.

There are more gentlemanly and knightly ways to handle that. One such way that I read on here is great: "So listen, I'll get the bill this time, and you can get it the next. Deal?" This shows your confidence and that you are attracted to her so it sets up for future dates. Don't be a nice guy, don't be a mean guy, be a gentleman. That is perfection.

Your story gives me hope, though when I'll go dancing and to clubs I don't know. Since you are 27 years old, have you always felt this confident such that you can waive a girl over!?!
