They do, not as long as the actual consequences but they are. People who are also falsely accused are also give an insane ammount of money for how long they are kept. I remember a dude who was kept in jail for about 2 weeks but some information came out to prove him innocent and he got something around 50k for 2 weeks. People who are falsely accused and not found out till they serve their sentence usually get upwards of 250k or more
