Dworkin was a deeply crazy person (not unexpected given the abuse she suffered growing up) and thought that all sex with men was rape. Its not easy, but taking things less personally and internalizing that everyone has their own path and their thoughts don't really affect me has really helped me be more vulnerable. I get where you're coming from, but I also get what they're saying, given the likelihood of women suffering greater injury. Right now though, we have something like a 99% focus on female victims. Its to the degree that people don't even believe male victims exist. 1	The Hypocrisy of Circumcision I see the difference, but you miss my point entirely, you are arguing the point very narrowly, ie. only focusing on safety. People are not only condemning the practice of circumcision because it is unsafe but ALSO because it causes harm. People didn't initially realize that lobotomies caused harm, you can only say that it permanently cripples brain function with the benefit of hindsight. I hope you can understand this argument.
