I consider myself an MRA. A "men's right activist" not an "anti-feminism activist"". Unfortunatelyt the general sentiment is that people here prefer it this way now. Perhaps I might start my own MRA sub as a response, but I hardly have time to mod with a full time job.

Thanks for your shared sentiment. I don't care for imaginary internet points. I just hope that this post does strike a chord with some people who have forgotten what the movement should be about.

I'm not sure if you recall but a year back or so there was an intentional invasion from r/theredpill. The mods had to delete some threads and ban a few people. I believe we are still suffering from the aftereffects of that intentional attempt to move the narrative of the men's right movement to their own agenda. Tl;dr: when I subbed about 2 years ago, this place was a very different place from what it is now.

TRP has more active readers because it's easier to demonize and villianize a group of people you don't understand and group them as a homogenous threat to your manhood than it is to take the time and patience to try and understand why that a small number of these group of people are hellbent on taking your rights and freedoms away and exerting dominance over you. And that there are individuals from that group who do not believe the same ideology as them. TRP is a cult where you reinforce each ot…

I disagree with many MR posts that sound like delusional rants, but OP you delivered. This is a fantastic critique.

Not new but there's a stark difference between having a biased opinion and telling downright lies. Have seen many anti-feminist opinions but that's expected when you subscribe to this sub. This, however, is a downright lie.

Oh wow, no wonder you didn't reach this part: Both of these things are true. Men can be (and frequently are) the victims of violence. And women are certainly capable of perpetrating sexual violence. I'm totally against when articles dismiss violence against men by women as implausible but you basically claimed an article written by a feminist that recognised this fact does the exact opposite. Maybe you should learn to continue reading. Additionally: We should be talking about how patriarchy assu…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
