pretty much all her rationalizations were hamstering or damage control "sugar coating", after the fact she realized her secret was a bigger deal to OP than she thought it would be. This isn't the grand point to the post though.

Cool, but I hope you know that they didn't really want or care about your perspective in the first place.. More like fishing for validation.

I'm under the impression that everyone, male & female, tell lies and say hypocritical things or shit talk other ppl on some level or another. Obviously these bad character traits are more prevalent in the less mature (many women). Do you agree with this? you obviously draw the line somewhere. Wouldn't a child lying about looking at porn make an amused parent, chuckle, rather than to dish out a punishment? Many of us (not me yet) have come to accept women in spite of their smaller flaws. her picking the venue would have bothered me a bit. Don't tell me she picked the date and time too. as soon as I would notice her gathering her shit and putting on her jacket, I would have ran in front of her and kept her from leaving, calling the attention of the staff/ involving the police if I had to. Don't beat yourself up though, sometimes in the moment, it's difficult to realize what's going on/ think on your feet until it's too late. you'll never let that happen again though.
