It is all about plates. You need to observe this to recognize a redpilled man. Make an at home cooked meal. Cook and serve him. Wait to see if he attempts to pick up all the plates off the table to bring back to the kitchen. If he does this then he is not redpilled. A real redpilled man would not be doing your job.

What you see in the mirror is what you choose to see in your state of mind. Please seek talking to a counselor/therapist. There is no shame in doing so. You are already reaching out for advice to those who don't know enough about you and the possible root issues that may be in play. Make the step if you have not already to talk to a professional.

As a father who has seen his children grow into young adults... I would do it all over again in an instant. While children are ALOT of work, to me there was no greater happiness in life despite the hardships endured. I can't be the only one that feels this way.

Would you consider a partner transmitting an STD acquired through cheating (the kind that will result in physical harm) an act of violence?

I see the point you are making and agree. The spirit of my response was to mentally note the consequences. Sadly many people do not learn unless there is an associated consequence. Was this man's reaction appropriate? Maybe... Could he have suggested a pre-martial counseler to help mediate this issue first instead of taking the action he did? Would that have been a better response vs reacting? Are we providing advice to try to save a relationship or doom it?

I am not sure why you are disagreeing with me because my response was essentially what you are saying but with much less assumptions. I agree it is not good to keep a bank account secret.

If this is a partner you are preparing to commit to in marriage then there is nothing wrong with having a seperate bank account and should be revealed as such. Keeping it a secret when you are planning to get married can be seen as a red flag. Not being on the same page with finances early on in the relationship and finding out there is a disparity later on is a common factor in many divorces. Him being hurt is not out of line but his reaction by what he does when he gets hurt should be mentally…

Ok, I understand if the situation is with a cold approach to buy you a drink for you and your friends but in your hypothetical you had advanced knowledge that the guy is interested in you. If a man approaches and tries in this order: Hey I like you -- but gets shutdown. Hey I would like to dance with you. -- but gets shutdown. Hey let's have a conversation -- but gets shutdown. Hey let's meet up somewhere or go for a walk together-- but gets shutdown. Hey can I buy you something or a drink -- di…

With a guy that has shown interest, you are willing to accept gifts or acts of service instead of politely turning it down but have no issue clearly shutting down words of affirmation/affection? This seems like mixed signals or just using the guy.

Some guys need to be told directly. If you haven't directly told him that you liked him then you haven't tried everything. Ofcourse, it is up to you if you want to be with a guy that you have to be more direct with or one that is more aware.
