If a man had done this, would he be eligible for parole in 26 years or would he have gotten life without? Seems to me the PP is in full effect here. The PP doesn’t mean they never get punished. It means when they do, the punishment is far lighter than if a man had done the same thing. In this case, I think a man would have gotten life without.

Agreed. And I'm not going back to read it but I would also guess that is the max punishment if the sentences were served consecutively which won't happen because it's all part of the same crime. They would be served concurrently so even if they got maxed out (also extremely unlikely to happen as you noted) at 16 years it would more than likely be 4 years on each charge to be served concurrently. In this case, historically speaking, she would likely have been cited, fined and maybe given some light probation.
