I feel you man, all I learned from my dad was that playing too much video games for his liking could get me a little roughing. My father once slammed my head against a wall for playing video games all day. He also once asked me why I wasn't more like one of my friends (working out, working, having a gf, socially comfortable etc.) you can guess how that works out in a child's mind. I live in Canada, our healthcare is not free. I mean yes it is free in the shape of you don't receive a fucking 25000$ invoice for a broken leg. But here in Canada I am taxed at 50% and I'm not even close to being on the highest tax bracket. Also add the fact that even if you're in really bad shape you'll still wait 16-24 hours at the ER just to see the doctor. You didn't receive treatment yet. So yeah I try to stay away from useless hospital trips.
