Notice how every response by a feminist is derisive and combative. I've spent alot of time with feminists. I don't know how but I live with 3 of them. I did bring this picture here for discussion, and I'm glad that I found it. But I feel like people didn't read the entire letter she had there. There is nothing wrong with having support for sexual assault victims, but it is important to say that no one who claims sexual assault is a liar, and that all of their feelings are valid? That actually just isn't functionally true. Not everyone's feelings are valid, and not everyone who calls sexual assault is being honest. Why even say those things?

My problem with this image is that it is wholly one-sided. Saying that "we are not liars" is really a futile thing to support. This is further unabashed support for anyone who claims to be sexually assaulted, period. I don't understand it. I recently had a friend who as raped and I believed her because I had no reason not to. She was a good person, etc. I used "judgement." If you look in their sidebar it pretty much says that reasonable discourse is frowned upon. The definition of the /r/feminism sub is for it to be an echo chamber of feminist ideals, not a place for conversation. To boot, it's a "safe space." I think the idea is that since the Universities took on "student services" and have expelled people and the like for committing non-crimes that never were officially prosecuted, you get these half-crimes and stuff which really just lead to public shaming and expulsion. Nothing would really be on this kids' record, except, well, that he was expelled from a University for sexual misconduct.

Would you say that throwing a seed away is like chopping a tree down? Would you equate terminating a non-conscious pile of birth-goop to killing a toddler? At what point does a non-conscious pile of goop go from a bodily function to a person? I was thinking about this this morning in the shower. Another example of how feminism never considers males. In the conversation of productive rights, I never hear anyone discussing how men are affected by the laws. It's like humans reproduce asexually or something.

But it comes from a suffragist point of view, in that the "feminine" must be brought to prominence to make things equal. That's the basis for the name. Feminism is being "pro-feminine," and while that doesn't necessarily mean "anti-masculine" it certainly doesn't protect against it. It would be much easier to call yourselves humanists and solve the whole problem, but you won't. Why?

Because women's studies is an applicable social science I guess? I don't know why but it has been like that for years. No one seems to have noticed when every school in the nation adopted the idea that feminists could just be doctors for bitching about being a woman.

You are complete about being a complete moral agent. I disagree completely about biology not being a factor, though. You can have both. Just as you can admit the effects that estrogen has on the human body, you can admit the same for testosterone. In no way am I permitting acting upon the influences.

BACKGROUND This Facebook event is devoted to petitioning that women on the WMU faculty who get paid 4% less than the men who work for the college (overall) get de-facto raises. There is alot of insinuating that the 4% is for the same position, but it is not. Feminists are mad that women overall do not make equal to men, irregardless of position or worth to the institution.
