She mentioned the idea, sure, but the name itself has its origin in modern feminist theory. It's called the subject-object dichotomy, and did not originate with her (though gamers seem to have first heard of it via her). The idea, not named as such, probably is indeed an ancient one, recognizable in virtually all human societies.
