Re your "wrongful convictions" number. If you go here, http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/fjsrc/tsec.cfm and look at the report for 2010, under Title 18 (sexual assault/abuse) the number of cases either found guilty or dismissed (excluding sex offenders failing to register) then 37 cases of 218 total cases were "falsely accused" (there's an argument there about whether a not guilty verdict implies innoncence or not, but i digress) Anywho, its not quite 40%. Why are you being a dick? I wasn't even really looking to debate you, i was just curious if you had any sources to back the somewhat dubious claims that you're making. And while you may think this is obvious, I don't. Further, I can't really see how my asking for some sort of justification for a point that is pretty integral to your argument, is "why SRS hates you?" That false rape accusations cause less harm than actual rapes. That false rape accusations happen less than actual rapes. And the other assumptions that are implicit in your claim that raising the bar on being able to claim rape would be harmful to women.

Can you prove this claim? Because I doubt you can. And further, I would imagine that if you could, it would be based on an argument marginalizing the effects of false-rape claims.
