Men in American society have the exclusive right of full personhood. Women are not yet persons in this society. It is still very much a society of men where the women are objects to be owned, and not persons to be respected. How does this play out? In a million ways. 6 years ago, if I was in a business meeting, and had an idea, I could simply begin to suggest it.
