I ended up filing a little over a week ago. I sat on my hands for YEARS. I knew that filing these papers was the move a LONG time ago. My wife is an addict. Why is leaving the house a no no? I recently had a consult with an attorney. Told them that I wanted to get the hell away from this woman asap and leave the house. They told me “Go Ahead. Leave. You don’t have to stay there”.

Been there OP. Really sorry to hear about your misfortune. You CAN turn it around though. Please believe that. When times like these hit and it seems impossible to keep a positive attitude, you have to dig deep. I was in a spot very similar a few years back. I know exactly how you are feeling.
