This has nothing to do with the Welsh government. The Tories authorized the use of this algorithm despite it already having failed in Scotland. The Welsh parliament overruled its' use days before BJ's stance in support of it collapsed due to overwhelming pressure. We should be thanking the Welsh and Scottish leaders for pulling the rug from under Johnson's feet.

UPDATE Due to the monumental level of backlash experienced by the Tories, this algorithm has been dropped by the Welsh government and all grades have been reverted to their original status. I've read that the rest of the UK will be shortly following suit. Victory!

Not really the school, no. The people at fault are the examining body (WJEC) who used an inherently flawed algorithm that punished people for being male and/or from a low-income area.

More-so the latter. The students were given predicted grades in the absence of examinations, which were submitted to the examining board. The board then used some kind of algorithm that reduced the grades of a far higher proportion of males and those with postcodes linked with low-income areas.

It's good that the school will support the students. However it's unlikely that any of the grades will be reverted back by WJEC, reducing the prospects of hundreds, if not thousands, of young men.

It was sent out by the school, confirming that they would support all complaints made against the examination board, the WJEC.

Whilst this is true, their predicted grades were assigned by the teachers. The final grades given by the WJEC were based on those predicted grades, before being lowered. So you could argue that the teachers did in fact have an influence on the final grades, prior to reduction by the examination board.

Controversy relating to bloggers and social networking require no sources as it is out there for everyone to see. UPDATE: They are furthering with threats and warnings, attempting to keep this down on a technicality. I'm fighting them and will keep this out there. If anyone's good on Wiki editing too, get on the 'talk' on her page and back this shit up!

I'll look into whether I did or didn't delete the message; thanks for the advice! I've included the Vulture one as a reference on there, because as long as the references aren't biased in the POV then they have no viable reason to take the incident off of her Wiki. I think this is also why they haven't taken down the mention of her and her sister being a thief!

I've even had PM's containing threats if I don't take it down. Yet they find it perfectly fine to plaster half of Ched Evans' page with rape details, despite even his 'victim' protesting his innocence, with no second thoughts.

See the Ched Evans (British football player) case if you missed it; both intoxicated, both had intercourse, neither claimed rape once. He did 2.5 years after her mother reported her as not home. He lost the bulk of his career, all of his sponsors, his reputation, etc. Her? Nothing. *Edit - grammar.
