I’m really sorry that you’re feeling this way 😔 Even though you feel like it’s ruining your life, try and focus on things not involving sex. Do you have a great group of friends? Are you interested in sports? Do you love your job? Is there a possibility of seeing a therapist? I think it would be hard to overcome something traumatic like this alone.

Did I say it was too difficult or did I say it was an unfair comparison? You think the solution for not being comfortable with random sex is therapy? Love and sex aren’t the same thing. It’s okay to not be comfortable with random stranger sex.

OP- there’s nothing wrong with waiting till you’re comfortable to have sex. Really, if sex with strangers psychs you out, don’t do it. It’s a very personal thing and should be fun and enjoyable.

I was a desperate teen, any attention was good attention. Poor mindset, but I’m happy to not be so pathetic at this point. I mean, you don’t really know that girls aren’t sexually attracted to you. Have you ever tried to be forward without getting stuck in the friend zone? Are you attractive? You don’t have to be a dick to gets girls attention, I think being funny works better anyways.

There was this guy in high school who always thought he was being nice, but he was actually creepy and I use to respond with “awww” and “you’re so nice” so he wouldn’t murder me and use my skin as a lampshade. Step 1, make sure you’re actually nice and not creepy.
