I believe that MC is a violation of a person's bodily autonomy. One of the most shocking realities is that a surgery occurs affecting a baby. But the true damage often isn't discovered till the body reaches adulthood, erectile dysfunction, loss of sensitivity, premature ejaculation. . . No recourse for the baby boy. No need for the harm.

Circumcision does reduce pleasure and sensitivity. You cannot ignore the fact that more nerve endings are removed during circumcision than are left in the penis. Virtually all of the supposed benefits are yielded in adulthood, and the only one that has any significance in infancy is UTI occurrence in the first six months of life. Do you suggest that this singular benefit outweighs the complications of circumcision? Babies die each year from circumcision, but I don't know any babies that have died from UTIs. Do you have any evidence to the contrary?
