I see what your saying and I agree. It's most certainly a meme aimed at over dramatizing the situation. YES what happened to him is horrible, but he had a troubled past, his draft stock was slipping. The meme paints him as the next greatest and best player. He was good, but not what the meme portrays him to be. And she deserves punishment.

It is a traumatic experience. The courts found him not guilty because of the evidence given. No one, male or female, should have to ever experience rape. But unfortunately there are people who will make a story up to mess up someone's life. That's why people are so quick to defend him.

The evidence was inconsistent with her claims. She claimed there were 2 rapes and no oral sex, however she had traces of dna from semen in her mouth from the rape kit. Friends and people at the bar they met said she was all over him. Yes he may not be totally innocent, but she was found to be making up a story.

Lying about rape, and lying about a draft position are not equal. Not saying OP shouldn't have done more research. but regardless of whether he was 1st pick, or high school dropout, lying about rape ruins lives and should be taken seriously.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
