Honestly, Omegle needs to be shut down. I was on it in my early teens and it was definetly not appropriate from my age. Luckily I stayed away from the major creeps (but I did get manipulated by kids my age, not okay), but I've heard from a TON of girls who were either groomed or something else on that site. If I have kids their internet is going to be strictly monitered.

Yeah, I really think it’s the toxic masculinity thing. I’m in my late teens and whenever a guy gives me a genuine compliment, all his friends are yelling SIMP or bullying him about it. Honestly that shaming on men who treat women nicely is the problem, at least with teenage boys. I run a discord server and in the rules I put “no simp shaming”. I’ve gotten a lot of hate for it, but it’s staying.
